Storee Partners with the OTC Center for Advanced Manufacturing
Storee Construction recently helped Ozarks Technical Community College with the finishing touches on its new Center for Advanced Manufacturing learning facility in Springfield, Missouri. In addition to moving heavy equipment into place for the school, Storee’s connection with the college will give graduates access to potential careers.
As with any industry, ensuring a skilled workforce is available to meet the needs of today and tomorrow is a paramount concern. The OTC Center for Advanced Manufacturing will do just that, offering a hands-on learning environment and custom training centers to give students real-world experience.
It will also establish a pipeline of sorts for local, regional, and national companies and organizations to partner with the school for additional learning opportunities. Students will learn the technologies of today while shaping the processes of tomorrow.
Programs include Manufacturing Technology, Automation and Robotics, Drafting and Design, and Mechatronics. Information Technology Infrastructure and Cybersecurity are also offered, giving students a well-rounded education or the ability to focus on individual career paths. With in-person, remote, and hybrid options, students can choose the path that’s right for them.
